Tuesdays

• Kindergarten Breathwork + Art 1:45-2:45PM

Our kinders have such BIG feelings. This class will lead little artists in the basics of breathwork, focusing on how their bodies and emotions feel in the now to help them better process any challenges during the school day. Armed with breathwork and a slew of art supplies, their brains will create new neuro-pathways for conflict resolution and calming their nervous systems.

A diverse age range of kids makes a beautiful setting for collaboration, inspiration, and idea sharing. Classes start with fundamentals of meditation, setting the stage to build every week with longer meditative work and different visual or sensory aspects. Together, we'll channel clear, safe energetic spaces for kids to learn different art techniques and use their learning to explore materials and create personal, introspective mixed media mini masterpieces. This class is perfect for kids who LOVE ART!

Wednesdays

• DEconstruction + Drumming (1st - 8th grade) 1:45 - 3:00PM  *Loma Bus drops off at Timmus Lane

Just as kids should learn how to "create," they should also learn how to deconstruct. Deconstruction functions as a tool for strengthening executive function, helping kids sustain attention and build curiosity. Deconstruction is especially helpful for kids with logical-mathematical and/or visual-spatial intelligence to understand better processes...kind of like using your less dominant hand :) Coupled with group drumming, which helps calm your nervous system and create a community connection with others, this class is a lot of fun!

• MakerSpace + Movement (1st - 8th grade) 3:15 - 4:30PM

MakerSpace is a KID FAVORITE because it's unfiltered, limitless wonders of fun! ....And kids love glue guns. Each class starts with movement to energize and ground and help kids center into the moment and get into the flow of creating. Kids often work together and inspire each other to create interesting, outstanding structures and art projects using all kinds of materials.

• Crafting + Creative/Color Visualization (1st - 8th grade) 3:00-4:15PM  *Loma Bus drops off at Timmus Lane

Creative/color visualization is a unique meditative practice that cleanses and clears our energy centers using colors. This practice helps call in creative energies and helps kids connect with color personally and meaningfully. This positive vibe will carry throughout class as we explore different crafting projects, from beading to textiles, painting to pens and markers.

*Each 4-week session/class is $120/child. Siblings receive a 5% discount
